My, how time flies! One minute he’s a teen heartthrob with his spouting his signature line, “Whoa!” from the family sitcom, “Blossom.”

Now Joey Lawrence, former teen heartthrob and child actor will soon have another title to add to his resume: Broadway performer. On May 4th Lawrence will join the Broadway company of the musical Chicago, portraying the role of lawyer Billy Flynn. He is scheduled to star through June 17th.

This will be his Broadway debut.

Lawrence currently portrays the role of Clay Dobson on “CSI: NY,” and was also part of the third season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” His list of film & television credits can be seen at IMDB.com.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
