Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on CBS, from 9AM until Noon (should be the same for all time zones, but check your local listings for any discrepancies).

The following shows and songs will be featured on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade:

• Bye Bye Birdie – “Put on a Happy Face”
• Hair – “Aquarius”
• Billy Elliot – “Shine”
• Shrek – “I’m a Believer”

Other performers include:

• The Radio City Rockettes will appear in a traditional number from The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
• Cheyenne Jackson of Broadway’s Finian’s Rainbow will appear on the New York Daily News Big Apple Float. Jackson will be performing the song “Play to Win” in honor of the New York Yankees’ World Series win.
• Tony Award winning actress Jane Krakowski (”30 Rock,” Nine) will perform an original song.
• Tony Award winning actor Alan Cumming (Cabaret) will perform the song “That’s Life” on the M&M’s on Broadway float.

CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade

The CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on CBS, beginning at 9AM (ET).

The following shows and songs will be featured on the CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade:

• West Side Story – “America”
• Dreamgirls – “Dreamgirls”
• Ragtime – “Wheels of a Dream” and “Ragtime,” in Battery Park, against the backdrop of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Other performers include:

• Reba McIntyre (who performed the title role in the Broadway musical Annie Get Your Gun.)
