Broadway veteran Charlotte d’Amboise (pictured 2nd in from left in the 2nd row with red leotard) is joining the cast of soap opera “One Life to Live,” today, January 16, 2009. She will be playing the vice principal of the fictional Llanview High, Ms. Dickinson.
Coincidentally, her former A Chorus Line co-star Jason Tam (pictured 2nd from right in bottom row, in orange & white shirts) currently plays a student at the school, Markko Rivera.
The 44-year old Tony nominee is no stranger to Broadway, having appeared in A Chorus Line, Cats, Carrie, Chicago, Company, Contact, Damn Yankees, Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Song & Dance, and Sweet Charity. She has been nominated for a Tony Award twice (in 1989 and 2007), most recently for her portrayal of Cassie in the 2006 Broadway revival of A Chorus Line.
