Cinderella Cast Recording Released Digitally Today


The original Broadway cast recording of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella released digitally May 7 from Ghostlight Records. The CD version will be released in stores June 4, and will include a full color booklet, a plot synopsis by book writer Douglas Carter Beane and an essay about the history of the score by Ted Chapin, president and executive director of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.

The new production stars Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana and Victoria Clark.

The new production, which opened March 3 at the Broadway Theatre, has earned eight 2013 Tony Award nominations, including Best Revival, Best Actress (Laura Osnes), Best Actor (Santino Fontana), Best Featured Actress (Victoria Clark) and Best Book (Douglas Carter Beane).
