If you’re a fan of Tony and Grammy Award-winning songwriter Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), you won’t want to miss this! Sheik has put up a bunch of his “Whisper House” memorabilia for auction on eBay to benefit Amnesty International, the non-profit human rights organization. Better get in on this quickly, though, as the auctions end on Feb. 22!

Auctioned items include: autographed copies of his new album “Whisper House,” autographed t-shirts, lyric sheets, and photographic prints. And that’s just the beginning. He’s also auctioning tickets and meet-and-greets for his Seattle and Boston concerts, and — get this — personal songwriting lessons in NYC!

Sheik’s latest album, titled “Whisper House,” is based on a new musical he and and Kyle Jarrow are collaborating on. The album was released on Jan. 27.

Press notes describe the CD: “Structured as a melodrama, each of the ten songs on the album weave together to tell the story of a child’s grief and spinster’s longing as seen through the eyes of the ghosts that haunt the remote, World War II-era Maine lighthouse where they live.”
