“Glee” star Jane Lynch recently spilled some beans about the spring premiere of the second half of the season of “Glee,” which premieres on Feb. 6, 2011, to the Associated Press. Beginning with that episode, the show will move from Tuesdays to Wednesdays, airing Wednesdays at 9 PM ET on Fox.

Lynch, who portrays the slightly-psychotic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on “Glee,” confirmed that actress Gwyneth Paltrow and CBS News anchor Katie Couric will both make appearances, with Paltrow returning as substitute teacher Holly Holiday. Both celebrities had previously been mentioned, but no date for Paltrow’s appearance had yet been confirmed.

Lynch also said the Glee’s New Directions will be performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

It’s got so much firepower. There is so much going on in the show that is crazy and funny and wild. I have a hissy fit the likes of which no one has seen before, where I try to destroy the locker room and principal’s office. I try to shoot one of my cheerleaders from a cannon.
