The 52nd annual Drama Desk Awards took place on Sunday, May 20, at F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center, featuring Kristin Chenoweth as host. Spring Awakening won Best Musical, and received a total of four awards, while the winner for Best Play was The Coast of Utopia, which won a total of seven awards.
