Tonight Barbara Walters will be naming 2009 “American Idol” finalist Adam Lambert among her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2009” (ABC, Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 10 p.m. ET.)

Following a fantastic run Off-Broadway at the New World Stages Theatre, Rock of Ages is moving to Broadway, beginning previews tonight, March 17, at Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre. It will officially open on April 7.

“American Idol” Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks will be appearing several times on “Live with Regis and Kelly.” He appeared on the syndicated morning talk show this morning, Feb. 19, and will be appearing tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 20, as well as March 2.
Today’s and tomorrow’s appearances are related to the show’s segment, “Dating with the Stars.” For his date, Hicks picked Julie Courtney, 31, a San Francisco real-estate consultant. Friday (tomorrow), the pair will share the juicy details of about their date.

Better late than never, but “American Idol’s” Diana DeGarmo, is currently starring as Dorothy in a limited tour of Oz, the Musical, which is a bit of a contemporary take on L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”
The musical launched Feb. 7-8 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX, and went on to the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium in Fort Worth on Feb. 13-14.

Remember Anthony Fedorov, “the Clay Aiken of season 4″ of American Idol, in 2005? Well, he’s found his way Off-Broadway!
Fedorov joined the cast of The Fantasticks Revival on May 1st. He is playing the role of Matt, who falls in love with his neighbor’s daughter against both their fathers’ wishes. (The role of Matt was created by the late Jerry Orbach.)
